Out past the last of the shops, Heath Hill opens up into paddocks, gum trees and gravel roads that take a while to get anywhere. Houses sit well back from the road behind a long drive, and most come with a shed that has been handed more jobs than it was ever built for. People here tend to stay, and the property shows it: a stack of firewood, a trailer under a tarp, a workbench that has outlasted a few projects.

Mover Melbourne helps people move in, out and around Heath Hill, and we’re happy to make the drive. The first thing we ask about is the way in. A long gravel drive, a gate that only opens so wide or soft ground after rain can change which truck we send and how many people go with it. If you’re comparing removalists Heath Hill households can rely on, ask each company what they’d do if the truck had to stop short of the house. Our furniture removals are planned around that carry, with extra hands for the heavy pieces.

Country homes often have a few things that need a proper plan. A big freezer in the shed, a solid timber table that seats ten and a wardrobe that only fits one way through the door all take time to move well. Tell us about them early, and we’ll allow for it.
